Driving License Category A1
Driving License Category A1 permits you to drive motorized two-wheeled vehicles. It permits the use of mopeds and small motorcycles that have an engine power of less than 11 kW.

Prerequisites
You must be at minimum 16 years old in order to get a driver's license category A1. This license allows drivers to drive an easy motorcycle, whereas A2 and A are reserved for larger motor vehicles. You also need to complete a first-aid course and theoretical training based upon the complete syllabus. Various driving schools offer this course. All driving schools follow the same curriculum, even though their costs might differ.
The practical training consists of a number of driving lessons. These lessons run between three and four hours. Theory test
The Driving License Category A1 test is a two-part test, which includes both the theoretical and practical portions. Practical test
The practical test for the Driving License Category A1 exam is divided into two parts. The first is the examiner checking and getting your motorcycle ready to drive.
